Description
Sometime around 1975, Triumph added an extension to the TR6 parking brake lever to increase the force applied by the handbrake and to make the parking brake more effective. If you own a TR4A IRS, TR250 or TR6 without this extension, you have probably noticed that the parking brake does not securely hold the car even if you pull the handbrake as hard as you can. These new lever extensions are improved versions of the original extensions, which are no longer available. Cut from structural steel and nickel plated for corrosion resistance, these extensions are an easy and affordable way to make your Triumph safer. Installation only takes a few minutes and significantly improves the parking brake’s effectiveness.
Sold as a kit with two lever extensions and mounting hardware for the left and right parking brake levers on the original Triumph rear drum brakes.
