According to my measurements the King Tri-Metal rod bearing shells average .0004" thinner than spec. If your crank journals and housing bores are at spec size, this will theoretically result in bearing clearance of about .0008" greater than original spec. I will keep them listed for sale for those who want the Tri-Metal type bearing but be aware that it may be necessary to re-size the con rod housing bores to slightly under nominal spec to get proper oil clearance with these bearings.
The AE/Glyco rod bearings measure very close to spec so they should provide proper oil clearance if the crank journal and housing bore are at original spec.
